How to report a crime in Ukraine
If you have become a victim or a witness of a crime in Ukraine, you can contact the law enforcement agencies.
According to the Article 3 of the Law of Ukraine "On the legal status of foreigners and stateless persons", foreigners and stateless persons who are in Ukraine on legal grounds have the same rights and freedoms and bear the same duties as citizens of Ukraine, with exceptions established by the Constitution, laws or international treaties of Ukraine. Foreigners and stateless persons who are under the jurisdiction of Ukraine, regardless of the legality of their stay, have the right to recognition of their legal personality and fundamental human rights and freedoms. Foreigners and stateless persons are obliged to strictly adhere to the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, other normative legal acts, not to encroach on the rights and freedoms, honor and dignity of other people, the interests of society and the state.

- call the police 102;
- visit police precinct (search on Google maps: "Поліція");
- call your friends or relatives in Ukraine (they report a crime on your behalf);
- call on the hotline the Embassy of your country;
- call the advocate (attorney) or other lawyers.
Before reporting a crime to the law-enforcement agencies, it's better to consult with an advocate (attorney) or other lawyer. He will let you know about your rights and duties concerning the accident.
